These brushes, made from fallen branches, recycled bristols, and feathers, are used for mark making in your art work.  Mark making is defined as a technique making diverse lines, dots, patterns and textures.  It is not unheard of to use these brushes for display as well! A lot of steps go into the finished product, including removing the bark, sanding, applying wax or oil, and drilling holes to add recycled brush material or feathers. I also enjoy wrapping them in velvet, thread, fabric, or applying a wood burned design. Suggestions: when using these for mark making, you may want to water down your paint.  When cleaning, use a mild soap and avoid submerging the handle. These brushes are naturally one of a kind creations.  Contact me at suehandman@yahoo.com and I can show you what brushes are available. Prices range from $25.00 – $45.00.
